Record label Analysis

Sony Music Entertainment -Signs Pop/Rock, art based logo looks like brush strokes with "sony music" written over in the font that sony always use this shows that its part of the sony group and that its a music company, they have signed countless artists ranging from Michael Jackson to Miley Cyrus, and along with following the pop trend they also dabble in other genres by signing bands like Don Broco who are Alternative/Hard Rock.

Evermore - signs alternative rock, they currently are either a few companies that have used the same name or they are opening 2 different branches of the company as there are currently two websites that are incomplete but online, their logo consists of a Vinyl record as a background and text over the top saying Evermore Records, their are a few more logos but this is the one i have decided to analyse.
This logo has a very interesting and unique design as you can see the circular pattern behind the writing which is clear to represent an old school vinyl disk.
