Evaluation

My Final outcome i feel was a success for it had both aspects of work and stood out, with the front design being a digital piece and printed by using heat transfers and a heatpress with and the back design being a digitally made design but the application was handmade with a stencil and spray paint.
I Think it is a good outcome with links into Si Scotts work as his work really shone for me as the curves and colour really attracted me, which is why i did my own personal Si Scott experiment on the final design by using the warp tool without the twirl tool to make it look different to the work of him and of others.

The colours used on the front design background are blue red green and grey i used them to add more effect of the lyrics but also to add more to the design as it seemed a little plain without a backdrop for the words, i used the colours lightly so they didnt over power the foreground words otherwise it would look bad, but i am pleased with how the design turned out.

The words on the front design are lyrics from a croydon band Break the Boundaries which is linked on the back with it saying BTB in what i think is well designed in a mirror technique.
To print the back design i used a card stencil which i printed half of the design onto from photoshop where i made the design, then i cut around the edges making sure i didnt break any of the pieces, for i used the cut outs to do the gaps of the "B". i then found the half way of the Tee, sprayed black paint on one side, after 2 minutes of drying I sprayed the gaps with white spray paint, then repeated on the other half of the Tee to create the symmetrical design.

If i could change anything it would be the size of the front design for i feel it is rather small and could cover more of the t-shirt making it easier to read also i would redo my back design as there were a few mishaps with spray paint causing black lines where i forgot to cover the t-shirt.
Overall i am pleased with the piece i have made for it was different to both the artist who inspired it and also the work of others around me.
